Earlier today I received an promo email from Wizards of the Coast’s PR Team. The hype machine for the 2024 rules update has been going pretty steady now for a while, so not much of this will be new for anyone who has been following along.
If you aren’t sure if the 2024 rules are for you, the free version of the rules can be found on D&D Beyond with limited options but everything you need to run the game. You can create a Cleric, Fighter, Rogue, or Wizard, each with one subclasses and a smaller selection of backgrounds than found in the PHB.
