We go hands on with the Outrun AGA Alpha from RetroDNA

We’re pleased to announce the development of Outrun AGA for the Amiga is finally hitting the Alpha stage. In this very early build we have had the honour of testing this very first playable Alpha of the upcoming Outrun AGA by RetroDNA.

It’s been over 6mths since we originally published the exclusive on the release and now we finally have our hands on something playable. Early impressions are great, it runs like butter on our accelerated 1200 (Full Rev6 060) and despite some bugs, we’re impressed and look forward to helping test the game as it progresses.

The team over at RetroDNA hope to see a 2025 release with work now continuing to add in that iconic Outrun soundtrack.

Not to be overdramatic, but this is the Outrun port the Amiga deserves. We’ll keep you posted!
